Shimmerz TIPS & TECHNIQUES

To apply: Shake the jar and use what remains in the lid to paint with. A little goes a long way and this will help to keep your paints clean.

For stamping, apply directly to your stamp using a small foam brush (available at craft and hardware stores). You can emboss with clear powder or leave to dry.

Create backgrounds by applying with a crumbled paper towel, sponge, or textured brush. You can choose 2 or more colors and layer them for beautifu: effects.

Color stamped images with TombowTM markers or LyraTM watercolor pencils, then hi-lite with harmonizing Shimmerz.

Put 2 or more drops of complementary colors onto a glossy cardstock; then use a second card (glossy side down) to "smush" colors together. You now have two glossy cards with fabulous backgrounds!

If you desire a longer drying time in order to blend colors, or emboss, place a small amount of Shimmerz' into a pallet, then add a TINY drop of clear embossing ink, like Clear TopBossTM, and mix.

Shimmerz are not permanent, in order to protect porcelain or other projects, spray with a mat finish.

When using Shimmerz on acetate or other non-porous surfaces, apply by dropping on the surface with a paintbrush. In order to prevent colors from runrung together, allow time for Shimmerz to dry between adjacent color areas.
