How To Make This Japanese Tapestry Card

The following stamps were used:

7H93 Japanese Blossoms

7Fl52 Japanese Vase

7K48 Japanese Background

7Bl27 Japanese Fan Crest

7Bl26 Wind, Sky, Wood, Cloud, Snow

Cut the white card stock (7 1/2 x 4 1/4 folded). Cut the red vellum paper 3 1/4 x 7 3/4. First stamp 7K48 Japanese Background on the bottom edge of the card making sure that you stamp the first line of the background design and stamp (I 1/4 inch) of the top of the vellum using a gold pigment pad and "Gold Sparkle" . Center the 7H93 Japanese Blossoms on the vellum using a pigment pad and gold embossing powder. On a separate sheet of gold metallic paper stamp 7F152 Japanese Vase using a black pigment pad and clear embossing powder and attach to the vellum using 3d tape so it covers the branch of the blossom. On a separate sheet of white card stock paper stamp 7B127 Japanese Fan Crest with a pigment pad, emboss with gold powder and attach to the vellum using 3d tape. As a finishing touch stamp 7B126 Wind, Sky, Wood, Cloud, Snow to the right edge of the vellum beside the vase using a black dye ink pad. Fold the top of the vellum, tape the gold string (which can be found at all fabric stores) to the inside flap of the vellum and glue the flap to the back of the vellum. This is a unique andjun way to use the stamp of the month to make a Japanese tapestry.
